[Update: Potentially continuing?] Daniel Blandford's Android Q Desktop Launcher Scrapped

Jul 25, 2019

Daniel Blandford, the developer behind the Flow Desktop desktop launcher for Android Q, has announced that he is scrapping the project. In a video uploaded by the developer, he states that his decision was made due to the lack of support from Patreon supporters, Google, and other OEMs.

Should he get more supporters on Patreon, he may blow the dust off the project and continue development.

If you would like to help bring back the project, consider becoming a patron.

Update: 2019/07/28 1:17:56 UTC-06:00
Daniel has uploaded another video explaining some perks that Patreon supporters would receive. He mentioned that supporters that paid $10 or more would receive early access to Flow Desktop during development. They would also receive more frequent news about the project.
